About the Band

Grass Fed is a band based out of Virginia, with special ties to Rappahannock County.

The band members are:
Brian Chafin: Lead Vocals, Guitar
Dan Mudge: Lead Guitar, Backing Vocals
Colin Chinsammy: Drums, Backing Vocals
David Hale: Bass

A Heartfelt Hearthstone Thank You!

 For years, Hearthstone has had an arrangement with Grass Fed where they play at our annual Valentine's Dinner fundraiser and we feed them food and send them home with leftovers. It has been a mutually satisfying relationship. For the second year running, the band has graciously offered to play a virtual concert to raise funds for the school. Due to Covid-19, we have had to cancel all our other in-person fundraisers and events and are deeply grateful for the support we receive through this livestream concert. Awesome initiative on the part of Grass Fed to find a way to virtually connect with Hearthstone and the greater community.

​Grass Fed is broadcasting the livestream from Modal Music Studio. Located in Warrenton, VA, Modal Music Studio was formed by Chris Bauer and Dan Mudge of Grass Fed. They offer music lessons, recording studio services, and instrument repair.
